Dr Stewart is a clinical researcher with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in translational medicine. His main research areas are neurosciences, immunology and inflammation. He has held positions at GSK, Pfizer and BMS transitioning molecules into first time in man studies through to Proof of Concept.
Dr Stewart obtained a Medical degree from the University of Dundee gaining academic merit awards in Pharmacology, Physiology, Biochemical Medicine, Pathology, Medical Microbiology and Applied Pathology. Medical prizes consist of Barry Dow bursary, American medical graduate’s prize, Applied biological and pathological prize and the Robert Davies Royds memorial prize. He has held an Honorary Senior Lecturer post in Neurosciences at Imperial College, London and obtained Fellowship of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, London.
